The Layers of Fall

The beginning of fall is bittersweet. We look forward to the crisp touch of air and the changing of leaves, but still hold on to the warm memories of summer. Sometimes change is hard and transitioning to a new season, and a new wardrobe can be difficult. However, the best thing about Fall is that you never have to let go completely; you can embrace the lower temps while still soaking up the rays of cool sunshine. This can be said with your outfits too. We. Love. Layering. Incorporating pieces from your summer days into your autumn outfits is one of the best things about this time of year. I think everyone can agree that dressing in layers is just all around better. It even makes it easier to showcase your style. This is your time to wear as many decadent pieces as you want without having to wipe sweat from your forehead or shiver to avoid covering up your BA outfit with a puffy coat. I mean, what could be better than booties, socks, high-waisted denim, crop tops, flowy kimonos, and wool hats? Besides pumpkin spice lattes… nothing.
